Snuggledown is one of our hygge authentic Mongolian yurts set in a secluded meadow with high hedges on 3 sides and views down through the trees to the lakes in the valley below. Each yurt has a king size bed, up to two extra single camp beds, wood burning stove and all the equipment to make glamping adventurous and easy including a fire pit, BBQ & picnic bench. So hygge, so cosy!

The fully equipped kitchen is shared between the two yurts and is located in the old farmhouse. With the option of cooking on electric or on our wood powered oven and hob, the kitchen has everything you need and expect for your self-catering break. The kitchen includes your own fridge, glassware, crockery, cutlery, pans, microwave, kettle, storage and camp fire equipment including a Dutch oven and heavy frying pan.

Dining is in the conservatory next to the kitchen with two separate tables. Here you’ll also find lots of books, maps of the local area and discovery sets for children.
Why not explore our 8 acres of woodland, meadows, stream and lakes on site? Right next door is Dunsland National Trust & Forestry Commission with 200 acres of parkland and woods. You can even walk to the pub (we have a handy video guide on YouTube so you don’t get lost!).

Please feel free to arrive any time between 4pm and 7pm. (Unfortunately we can’t offer self check in for the yurts). Bag drop for the yurts is in our top car park and overnight parking in the valley. Note that one of the yurts has decking which can become slippery in the wet. Please see our full terms and conditions here.
